About your mild Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT) Appointment…

ARRIVAL:
* If this is your first time doing a hyperbaric session at Lucidity, please arrive 10 min before your scheduled time to complete paperwork.
* If you have done a hyperbaric session with us in the past, please arrive no earlier than 5 minutes before your scheduled time for social distancing purposes.
* If you are running late, just give us a ring but please be aware that we may need to cut your session short if there are people scheduled in the next time slot.

CANCELLATION POLICY:
* We have a 24-hour cancellation policy. If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, please give us a minimum of 24-hours notice so we can fill the time slot. If it is less than a 24-hour notice and we won’t have the opportunity to rebook the time slot, you will be charged a $20 rescheduling fee.
* No-shows are charged in full.

BEFORE YOUR HYPERBARIC SESSION:
* Don't drink a lot of liquids prior to your session. It takes about 5 minutes to bring you up to pressure in the chamber and another 5 minutes to bring you back down so getting in and out isn't something you can do instantly.
* Charge your phone. You may bring electronics into the chamber during your session so be sure you have a full battery.

WHAT TO BRING:
* Wear comfortable clothes and preferably layers. Some people get warm in the chamber while others get chilly. Either way, you'll want to be comfy so yoga pants or sweats with a t-shirt is typically ideal.

FOR YOUR OWN SAFETY, YOU MAY NOT USE THE HYPERBARIC CHAMBER IF YOU:
* Are currently prescribed or taking any of the following medications - Bleomycin, Disulfiram, or Mafernide Acetate.
* Have or suspect having any of the following conditions - COPD, Sickle Cell Anemia, or Hereditary Sperocytosis.
* Have epilepsy that is not under medical control.
* Are under the age of 16 and without a guardian.
* Are unable to enter and exit the chamber without assistance (unless you bring your own assistant). If you have questions about this, please give us a call or stop by to see what is involved.

HBOT THERAPY IS NOT RECOMMENDED IF:
* You currently have or recently had sinus congestion such as allergies or a head cold. The pressure inside the chamber will cause pain in your ears and could potentially cause permanent damage.
